Reliable Protection Against Electromagnetic Fields for Railway Operations and Emergency Teams
Early warning against electromagnetic fields — worn directly on the body. WaveMan 27 reliably protects railway technicians, maintenance crews, and emergency responders from radiation risks caused by ETCS and FRMCS.
The WaveMan 27 is a compact and powerful detector designed for mobile use in railway operations and industrial environments. The device reliably detects electric and magnetic fields in the 27 MHz frequency range and immediately alerts the user whenever critical exposure limits are exceeded.
With audible alarm, vibration, and flashing red LEDs, the WaveMan 27 ensures that electromagnetic hazards are detected early — before posing a risk to personnel. Thanks to its ergonomic design, the WaveMan 27 can be comfortably worn on the belt or upper arm. Weighing only about 110 g, it is ideal for all-day use by railway technicians, maintenance staff, and emergency teams.
The Nano Power Technology enables over 5 years of battery life without replacement. The automatic "Micro-Sleeping Mode" intelligently reduces energy consumption after each alarm.
Its robust housing made of antistatic ABS UL 94 HB provides excellent protection against impact, moisture, and harsh conditions. The WaveMan 27 is part of the Fabrimex X-Tec WaveDetect 27 solution and plays a key role in improving safety for railway personnel and maintenance operations.
